This series was created in response to my first experience with psilocybe semilanceata (liberty caps), a moment that profoundly altered how I perceived myself and the world around me.

During the experience, reality felt expanded, luminous, and alive. Images and emotions moved through me with intensity and clarity, offering moments of deep insight and connection. I was left with an overwhelming sense of love, gratitude, and compassion, as if layers of fear and anxiety had dissolved.

Throughout the journey, I felt the presence of a distinct feminine spirit, acting as a protective and guiding force that held me, reassured me and led me through the experience. It felt like a form of rebirth: a return to wonder, softness and child-like openness.

The works in this series attempt to translate these internal states into visual form. Rather than documenting the experience itself, they explore its emotional and spiritual residue, a space where transformation, vulnerability and reverence meet.

As with all my work, the images remain open. They are invitations to feel, rather than to understand.
