the Oracle at the End of Time

Born in a time when the world felt on the edge of ending, these collages became a way to listen inward. Each image is an archetype, a fragment of womanhood, a message from the subconscious. They are like mirrors, shifting, personal and open to interpretation.

The Oracle at the End of Time is a series of collages created during the first lockdown in 2020, in a moment when the world felt suspended, fragile and close to collapse. Confined at home, surrounded by uncertainty, I turned to tarot and oracle imagery as a way to navigate fear, longing and transformation.

Each piece emerged through a process of pure intuitive image association, without planning or predefined meaning. I allowed the subconscious to guide the composition, treating collage as a form of visual divination, a way to access what could not yet be named.

As the series grew, the figures began to feel like archetypes of womanhood, reflecting my personal experience, inner contradictions and emotional states. These are not fixed symbols, but open ones: fragments of memory, desire, resilience and vulnerability.

There is no single narrative or correct interpretation. The work invites the viewer to project their own stories onto the images, allowing the collages to function as mirrors, personal oracles at a time when the future felt unknowable.
